I see myself
a reflection in the glass between this thought and my car.
I do not see my father
overweight, cheerful.
I do not see my mother
hopeless, short.
I look at myself
and see myself.
I do not see my father's blue eyes or the nose of my mother.
I look at myself and see myself:
A mirage imposed upon a lamed German sedan.

Hello, handsome!

I forgot (for three years) about Blogger. Also forgotten: the existence of two blogs attached to my Blogger account. Also also forgotten: that Google owns Blogger. I returned to Blogger out of a desire to save $100. Apple's MobileMe service wants its annual fee in a few weeks. The MM blog access is terrible, restrictive. Specifically, terribly restricted to posting only through iWeb. This means that I cannot post to my site without the Macbookpro running iWeb. Hello, 2011 and Apple. Shake hands. I travel soon to Spain. I will not cart the laptop. The iPad cannot upload images (or take them). Why pay $100 for a service that demands restrictions on access? Bah.
